Ministry informs parliamentary committee to produce vaccine

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare informed about the plan to produce the vaccine in the country.

The ministry is considering reviewing the technical aspects of the issue, saying the vaccine could be produced only if the government agency Essential Drugs uses existing infrastructure and some new equipment.

The information was found in the working paper given by the ministry at the meeting of the parliamentary committee on Sunday.

The meeting was chaired by Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim and was also attended by members of the committee Health Minister Zahid Malik, former Health Minister AFM Ruhul Haque, Abdul Aziz, Syeda Zakia Nur, Rahgir Almahi Ershad (Saad Ershad) and Amirul Alam Milon.
