Some financial institutions, emergency services departments to remain open

State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain on Saturday said that some offices will remain open in a limited range during the strict lockdown which is set to begin on Monday.

He said, “The fiscal year is coming to an end. For this reason, some offices related to financial institutions, National Board of Revenue (NBR) related institutions and accounts will be kept open in a limited scale.” 

The state minister for public administration said, besides this, activities of some ministries and departments of emergency services will continue. 

“Except these institutions, everything will be closed during lockdown.”

A strict lockdown will be observed across the country from next Monday until further orders to prevent Covid-19 infection in the country. 

All government and private offices will be closed except emergency services. 

Chief Information Officer of the Information Department Surath Kumar Sarkar told the media on Friday night.
