HSC form fill-up procedure postponed

The process of form fill-up for this year's HSC examination has been postponed due to the surge in Covid-19 cases.

An emergency notification in this regard signed by Dhaka Education Board's examination controller SM Amirul Islam was issued on Sunday.

According to the notification, the date of form fill-up will be announced later considering the overall Corona situation.

HSC candidates were supposed to start form fill-up process online from June 29.

The Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Dhaka has already said that there will be no test examination this year and for this, no fee can be collected.

This year, the fee for filling up the form has been fixed at Tk2,500 for science students and Tk1,940 for humanities and business students. 

In case of excessive collection of this fixed fee, action will be taken against the educational institution, it warned.
