203 Corona deaths, 12,198 new infections

Bangladesh has recorded 203 Corona deaths and record 12,198 new infections in 24 hours till 8am onTuesday, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With this, the total number of deaths reached 16,842 and the total number of people infected rose to 110,47,155.

The current positivity rate is 29.21 percent.

A total of 41,755 samples were tested across the country in 24 hours.

The recovery count rose to 8,89,167 after another 7,646 patients were discharged from the hospitals during the past one day.
