228 Covid-19 deaths, 11,291 infected

Bangladesh recorded 228 Corona deaths and 11,291 fresh cases in the last 24 hours, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Sunday.

The total number of deaths in the country has reached 19,274 and the total number of people infected rose to 11,64,635.

The current positivity rate is 30.04 percent.

A total of 37,587 samples were tested across the country in 24 hours.

At least 10,584 Covid-19 patients have recovered during this period.

The total number of recoveries now stands at 9,98,923 and the recovery rate at 85.77 percent.
