Traffic jam in city amid lockdown

The Dhaka city streets witnessed traffic jam amid lockdown enforced to curb the spreading of coronavirus.

Dhanmondi 26, Shahbagh, Bijoy Sarani, Tejgaon, Mohammadpur, Mirpur 10 and other areas, traffic jams were seen, said the office-goers in the lockdown.

Export-oriented factories have been opened in the country since Sunday.

The government introduced public transport for 16 hours to bring back the working people amid the lockdown. 

As a result, workers and other Dhaka-bound people from across the country and surrounding areas flocked to return to their workplaces.
