114 Corona deaths in a day

Bangladesh has reported 5,249 COVID-19 cases and 114 deaths from the virus in the past 24 hours.

The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country now stands at 25, 513 and the total number of people infected rises to 14,72,964, added the release.

The country reported 15.12 percent COVID-19 positive cases as 34,708, samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

The recovery count rose to 13,81,763 after another 8,907 patients were discharged from the hospitals during the past one day.

The DGHS statistics showed of the people infected from the beginning 93.81 percent recovered, while 1.73 percent died.
