10 lakh Pfizer vaccines to reach Dhaka on August 30

Ten lakh doses of Pfizer vaccine, gifted by the US, will arrive in Dhaka on August 30.

Quoting the Health Minister, Information and Public Relations Officer of the Directorate General of Health Services Maidul Islam gave this information on Tuesday.

He said the consignment will reach Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 7:15pm.

Health Minister Zahid Maleque, Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen and US Ambassador to Bangladesh Earl Miller will be present at the airport to receive the vaccine consignment, the PRO added.

Some 50 lakh more doses of Pfizer vaccine will be available in the coming September.
