University students asked to register for vaccine by Sept 27

All the students of all public and private universities were asked to complete registration for getting Covid-19 vaccine by September 27.

The decision came from a meeting among Education Ministry, UGC, vice chancellors of public universities, and top health officials held on Tuesday.

The meeting also took decision that the students who do not have national identity (NID) card will be able to register using birth registration card.

On completion of registration, the university authorities can reopen any time based on approval of their academic council and syndicate, said sources attended at the online meeting presided over by Education Minister Dipu Moni.
