Corona vaccine to be manufactured soon: Health Minister

Health Minister Zahid Maleque Swapan MP said coronavirus vaccine would be manufactured in the country very soon.

"We are not just bringing vaccines; the prime minister has instructed us to make corona vaccines as soon as possible. We are working towards that goal. Vaccines will be made in the country very soon,” he said.

He made the remarks while addressing a function at the Jatiya Sangsad on Wednesday morning. The Health Minister answered various complaints and questions raised by the MPs.

He told the Parliament that two and a half crore people have already been vaccinated in the country while one and a half crore people have been given double doses.
