Schools,colleges to reopen on Sept 12: Education Minister

Primary, secondary and higher secondary educational institutes will be reopened across the country from September 12, said Education Minister Dipu Moni. 

She was responding to a question from reporters after inaugurating the newly constructed building of Mahamaya Government Primary School in Chandpur Sadar Upazila on Friday.

While contacted, Ministry of Education Public Relations and Information Officer Abul Khair also confirmed the matter to The Daily Samakal.

Mentioning that the assignment process will continue even after the opening of the educational institution, the Education Minister said, "Most of the teachers have been vaccinated. Besides, 12-year-old students will also be brought under the vaccination program."
