Little scope for holding JSC, JDC exams this year: Education Minister

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni said there is little scope for holding Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) exams this year due to the pandemic.

She was speaking to reporters after a function on the occasion of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's 75th birthday at Ganobhaban Government High School here on Tuesday.

Dipu Moni said that if there is no JSC-JDC examination, the eighth class students will have to take part in the final examination. 

Class assessment will be done in eighth grade like other classes, she continued.

The government also canceled JSC and JDC exams last year due to the Corona pandemic.
