LPG 12-kg cylinder gas now Tk1,259

The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has hiked the price of LPG to Tk104.92 from Tk86.07 per kg for October.

As a result, the price of a 12-kg cylinder increased to Tk 1,259 from Tk 1,033 that was effective from Sunday.

The new price was announced at a press conference at the BERC hearing room in the capital's Kawran Bazar on Sunday.

Commission Chairman Abdul Jalil, Secretary Rubina Ferdousi, Members Maqbul Elahi, Abu Faruq were present at the press conference.
