COVID vaccines for children this week

The government will start coronavirus vaccination programme for children aged between 12 to 17 years this week, said Dr ABM Khurshid Alam, Director General of Health Services.

Children will receive Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine jabs at 21 vaccination centres across the country, the DGHS director said on Tuesday.

The schedule will be announced before starting the programme, he said.

To do this the list of students’ will be collected from the schools and they will have different vaccination centres, he said.
