Pension of primary teachers on time

State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Zakir Hossain said that the pensions of the teachers who do not have any problem or complication related to the job at the primary level are being sanctioned on time.

He was responding to a question from Shamim Haider Patwari, Member of Parliament for Gaibandha-1 constituency, in the 15th session of the 11th National Assembly on Monday.

Earlier, when the sitting of the parliament started with Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury in the chair, questions and answers were raised on the table.

Zakir Hossain said the field administration of primary education grants all retirement allowances on priority basis in a short period of time. Welfare officers have been appointed at the ministry, directorate and district level to assist in the processing of pension issues.
