Maldivian Vice President due today

Maldivian Vice President Faisal Naseem will arrive here on Monday on a three-day official visit to further bilateral ties and mutual cooperation between the two South Asian nations.

Apart from bilateral issues, the visit will be focused on cooperation in the field of manpower export, health and education, according to foreign ministry's official source.

Foreign minister Dr AK Abdul Momen will receive the Maldivian Vice President at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport here at 9.15am tomorrow.

During his visit, the vice president is likely to hold meeting with President M Abdul Hamid, said the source.

Faisal Naseem is also scheduled to hold meeting with numbers of Bangladesh ministers including, foreign affairs, expatriate welfare and overseas employment, health and family welfare and education.
