Maldivian Vice President arrives

Maldivian Vice President Faisal Naseem has arrived Dhaka on a three-day official visit to further bilateral ties and mutual cooperation between the two South Asian nations.

Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen received the Maldivian vice president at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) at 9.15am.

According to foreign ministry's official source, Naseem will focus on cooperation in the field of manpower export, health and education.

During his visit, the vice president is likely to hold meeting with President M Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban.

Naseem is also scheduled to have meeting with number of Bangladesh ministers including, foreign affairs, expatriate welfare and overseas employment, health and family welfare and education.
