119 deaths in 11 months in road accidents in the capital

From January to November 25 this year, a total of 119 people were killed in 114 road accidents in the capital.

The dead included 62 pedestrians, 33 motorcyclists and 24 passengers of other vehicles, said The Road Safety Foundation, which works to ensure safe roads, in a press release on Sunday.

It is said that 172 vehicles were involved in these accidents. 34.21 percent accidents occurred at night. In addition, 20.17 percent occurred in the morning, 18.42 percent in the morning, 9.64 percent in the noon, 14.03 percent in the afternoon and 3.50 percent in the evening.
