5 members of the same family go missing

Monowara Begum,65, a mother of four children, was going home with her eldest daughter Nazma Begum’s two sons, one daughter, son's wife, daughter's son-in-law and grandchildren. 

It is very unfortunate that it was her last journey to his native village as the fire of MV Ovijan-10 launch in Sugandha River claimed her live among others.

Although Nazma’s two sons, a daughter and daughter-in-law have been found, but there is no trace of her son's wife, and three grandchildren.

Relatives are searching for them in Sugandha River and hospitals in Barisal and Dhaka but they were not found yet.

Monowara Begum's relative Zahid Hasan is searching for the missing relatives at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka at 11 pm on Friday.

“I heard that many victims have been brought to Dhaka. I have come to Dhaka Medical and Sheikh Hasina National Burn Institute to look for them, but could not find anyone,” Zahid signed.

Ayub Hossain, Residential Surgeon of the Emergency Department of the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, said a total of 14 people have been admitted here till 11 pm on Friday and everyone's condition is critical.”
