4 arrested for setting fire to bus in Rampura

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested four people from the capital Dhaka and Comilla on Tuesday night in connection with the burning of eight buses following a road accident in the capital Rampura.

This information has been given in a short message sent to the media by RAB.

Details will be announced at a press conference at the RAB’s media center at 2.30 pm at Karwan Bazar on Wednesday.

A student named Mainuddin was killed when a bus of Anabil Paribahan hit him in Rampura on November 29 at around 11 pm. 

Following the accident, at least eight buses were vandalized and set on fire by the mob. After receiving the news, two units of the fire service went to the spot and brought the fire under control.
