Dhaka, Rangamati in red zone due to corona infection

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has identified Dhaka and Rangamati districts as red zones for corona infection. 

Besides, six districts are at yellow zone or medium risk while there are 54 districts in the green zone.

Moreover, there are two districts in the list of very few to test. 

This information was given by the DGHS after analyzing the data of the last one week.

According to the DGHS, the corona infection rate in the capital is 12.90 percent while its rate in Rangamati is 10 percent.

Besides, the border districts of the country Jessore, Rajshahi, Dinajpur, Lalmonirhat, Natore and Rangpur are at yellow zone or moderate risk.

And 54 districts are at green zone or at low risk of infection. 

On the other hand, the rate of sample testing in Panchagarh and Bandarban districts has been very low.

Corona infection has increased by 169.12 percent in the last seven days as compared to the previous seven days. However, the death rate has decreased by 20 percent.
