Moderna jabs to be given as boosters instead of Pfizer

The expanded vaccination program of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS, in a directive, has recommended to give Moderna vaccine instead of Pfizer in case of booster dose of coronavirus.
The guidelines state that for your information, the Covid-19 vaccine has been instructed to provide the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine instead of Pfizer as the third dose / booster dose, subject to receipt of the vaccine at all levels of the country.
The Pfizer vaccine is only recommended for both school and college-going students (12-17-year olds) and for those who have received the Pfizer vaccine as the first dose.
The directive states that the letter was sent with the approval of the director general of the DGHS ) on Wednesday.
