Price of cylinder gas comes down by Tk 4.15 per kg

Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) prices in the domestic market fell by Tk4.15 per kg following the reduction of prices in the international market.

For the current month, the price of LPG has been fixed at Tk 98.17 per kg at the private level while it was Tk102.32 in the last month.

The new price was announced by the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) at a virtual press conference on Monday.

According to the announcement, the price of a widely used 12 kg cylinder has been fixed at Tk 1,078 while in December last its price was Tk1,228. 

This price will be effective from 6 pm on Monday.

Commission chairman Abdul Jalil and other members were present at the press meet.
