82% of corona patients are infected with Omicron: BSMMU

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) reported that 82 per cent of corona patients were infected with Omicron variant and the remaining 18 per cent were infected with Delta.

After analyzing the data for about three weeks, the information was disclosed on Thursday afternoon by the main patron (supervisor) of the Genome Sequencing Research Project, BSMMU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Sharfuddin Ahmed.
