EC search committee picks up 12/13 people

The search committee formed to form the Election Commission (EC) has shortlisted 12/13 people from the shortlist of 20 names.

The names were finalized at a meeting of the Supreme Court's Judges Lounge at 4:55 pm on Sunday.

The search committee will finalize10 names on February 22 to propose to the President. Then the president will select five names for forming the next EC as per the law.
