Govt to set up two public universities in Naogaon, Thakurgaon

The government is set to establish two public universities in Naogaon and Thakurgaon each, the northern part of Bangladesh.

The approval was given at a regular cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday. After the meeting, Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam briefed the journalists in this regard.

He said the cabinet had given policy approval to the draft of Bangabandhu Public University, Naogaon and Thakurgaon University Act-2022 in the meeting.
