Journalist Peer Habibur Rahman passes away

Senior journalist Peer Habibur Rahman died at a city hospital on Saturday afternoon.

He breathed his last nearly 5pm while undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of Labaid Hospital, according to a report published in the Bangladesh Pratidin.

Peer Habibur Rahman was working as the executive editor at Bangladesh Pratidin.

The journalist, who has been suffering from different health issues, had a stroke on Friday evening.
