Concluding event on 'Mujib Borsho' in Tungipara on Thursday

The concluding program of 'Mujib Borsho' will be held on Thursday on the premises of Bangabandhu Samadhi Soudha Complex at Tungipara, Gopalganj.

The National Implementation Committee for Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's Birth Centenary Celebration, in collaboration with the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, will host a daylong program.

The event titled "Tungipara: Fatherland in Heart" will commemorate the 103rd birthday of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Children's Day-2022.

According to a press release issued by the implementation committee on Tuesday night, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is set to preside over the event, while Bangabandhu's another daughter, Sheikh Rehana, is also set to attend.

At 12.30 p.m., the program will begin with a tribute to Bangabandhu at his mausoleum. There will be a debate and cultural event from 2.30pm to 4.40 pm.

State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Fazilatun Nessa Indira, as well as Awami League (AL) Presidium Members Muhammad Faruk Khan and Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim, will speak during the discussion.

Chief Coordinator of the implementation committee Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury will deliver the welcome speech.

A folk fair styled "Mujib Borsho Lokojo Mela" will also be held at Government Sheikh Mujib College field in Tungipara, Gopalganj.
