Masum is main shooter in Tipu and Preeti's murder: Police

Police arrested Masum, the main shooter in Shahjahanpur Awami League leader Zahidul Islam Tipu and college student Samia Afnan Preeti murder. 

Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Shafiqul Islam told this information to The Daily Samakal on Sunday afternoon.

The police commissioner said Masum, who was arrested for killing Tipu and Preeti, was accused in several other cases.

Attempts are being made to arrest more people involved in the killings.

The details will be revealed later at a press conference, the police official said.

Police said that the shooter involved in the twin murders had been identified earlier in Shahjahanpur. After that, several teams went to the action to arrest him quickly.

Police claim that they have got an idea of the network that worked from the planning to the execution of this sensational murder.
