Tahsan-Mithila-Faria acquitted in fraud case

The court has acquitted five persons including Tahsan Khan, Rafiat Rashid Mithila and Shabnam Faria from the fraud case filed by a customer of Evaly.

The other two released were SM Arif Reza Hossain, chief marketing officer of Evaly, and Abu Kayes, executive operations of the e-commerce platform.

On Sunday, Dhaka Additional Metropolitan Magistrate Hasibul Haque released them from the case.

However, the court has accepted the chargesheet against four people, including Evaly Managing Director Mohammad Russell and his wife Shamima Nasrin. 

The other two accused in the chargesheet are Abdullah Al Mamun alias Akash, vice president of Evaly, and Mohammed Abu Taher alias Saddam, the category head of the e-commerce.
