Noab recognizes members publishing newspapers over 25 years

The Newspaper Owners Association of Bangladesh (Noab) has recognized its members who have been publishing newspapers in Bangladesh for more than 25 years.

Last evening, the prizes were presented at a reception held at the Samson H Chowdhury Centre at the Dhaka Club in the capital.

The awardees include - The Sangbad, The Daily Ittefaq, Dainik Azadi, The Daily Purbanchal, The Daily Karatoa, Dainik Purbokone, Daily Inqilab, Bhorer Kagoj, Janakantha, The Daily Star and The Financial Express.

Despite various ups and downs, all of the aforementioned publications have been publishing news in the country for over 25 years.

Sangsad Jatiya Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury attended as the chief guest, while Minister of Information and Broadcasting Hasan Mahmud attended as a special guest.

Founded in 2004, Noab has played an essential part in the development of the country's newspaper sector.
