Students-businessmen clashes again in New Market area

Clashes are continuing again between students and businessmen in the New Market area of the capital.

The clash began again around 10:30 am on Tuesday, creating traffic halt in the area.

Traders and employees have taken position in front of Gauchia Market in New Market area. 

On the other hand, the students have taken position from the main gate of Dhaka College to the front of Nurjahan Market.

 According to eyewitnesses, the students of Dhaka College came down on the road with sticks and rods around 10:30 am on Tuesday and started throwing stones. 

The clash started when the traders also came out from the market places.
