45 Covid cases recorded in 24 hours

At least 45 new infections from Covid-19 were recorded  and no Covid-19 death was reported in 24 hours till 8:00 am on Thursday, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country remains at 29,127 and the death rate is 1.49 percent.

With the latest ones, the total number of cases rose to 19,52,485 added the release.

The current positivity rate is 0.76 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 14 percent, said the press release.

A total of 5,929 samples were tested across the country during this period.
