Advance train tickets selling begins

The sale of advance tickets on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr has started at 8 am on Saturday.

Advance tickets are being sold from five places including Kamalapur station in the capital.

A photocopy of the national identity card or birth registration is mandatory to buy a train ticket for this year's Eid journey.

According to railway sources, six special trains will be launched on the occasion of Eid. They are - Chandpur Special (Two Pairs), Dewanganj Special (One Pair), Sholakia Special (Two Pairs), Khulna Special (One Pair).

Tickets for these trains will not be sold online.
