Suspension of train ticket checker to be withdrawn: Railway Minister

Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujan announced on Sunday that the travelling ticket examiner (TTE), who punished three people for traveling without tickets and identifying to be related to him, has been reinstated.

The decision was made because the suspension order was issued without following due procedure, according to the ministry.

He went on to say that they have decided to submit a show cause notice to Pakshey's Divisional Commercial Officer for issuing such an order.

He was speaking at a press briefing at Rail Bhaban in the city.
