Hajj packages under govt-private management announced

The government and private management of this year's hajj packages were unveiled on WEdnesday.

The packages were revealed during a news conference held at the secretariat by State Minister for Religious Affairs Faridul Haque Khan.

According to a news statement, hajj pilgrims will have to pay Tk 4, 62,150 for a government-managed hajj package and Tk 4, 56,530 for a private-managed hajj package.

Meanwhile, Shahdat Hossain Taslim, the president of the Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB), said that more details on the private package would be released on Thursday.
