Kashiani road crash leaves 7 dead

A private car collided with a passenger bus in Gopalganj's Kashiani upazila, killing seven persons and wounding ten more on Saturday.

According to Md Sirajul Islam, Sub-Inspector of Kashiani Police Station, the accident happened about 11 a.m. on the Dhaka-Khulna highway near Milton Bazar.

The Maowa-bound bus of Rajib Paribahan lost control and crashed with a private car arriving from the opposite direction. According to the SI, it then crashed with a motorcycle, leaving seven people dead on the spot.

However, he did state that no one's identity has yet been found.

He said firefighters rescued the victims and took them to hospital.
