Technology expansion boosts fish production in villages

As a result of the development of technical services to the villages, fish production in the country has expanded dramatically in recent years.

Similarly, fishing resources have played an important part in the country's economy. As a result, the government has been executing several time-fitting projects aiming at cherished fisheries growth.

While speaking at the divisional evaluation meeting of the union level fish farming technology service expansion project, Khandaker Mahbubul Haque, Director General (DG) of the Department of Fisheries (DoF), made the observation.

Director of the project Habibur Rahman, Assistant Director Khalequzzaman Sarker, District Fisheries Officer Alok Kumar Shaha, and Senior Assistant Director Mozammel Haque spoke during the meeting, which was chaired by DoF Divisional Deputy Director Tofazuddin Ahmed.
