Fire at Parabat train, Dhaka-Sylhet rail link closed

A fire broke out at around 1:15 pm at Dhaka-Sylhet intercity Parabat train while it reached between Bhanugach-Shamsernagar station on Saturday. 

Shamsernagar station master Jamal Uddin told The Daily Samakal that the Dhaka-Sylhet route has been kept closed following the incident.

He said fire service and railway personnel had started work to put out the fire.

He did not immediately say how the fire started or if any casualty.
