Errors found in March 7 speech printed in constitution

A high-level committee, constituted under the direction of the High Court, has found more than one hundred errors in Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's March 7 speech printed in the constitution.

The Law Ministry has submitted a report in this regard to the concerned branch of the High Court, reports BSS.

A High Court division bench comprising Justice Md Mojibur Rahman Mia and Justice Khizir Hayat is scheduled to hear the matter.

On March 10, 2020, the High Court directed the formation of a high-powered committee to check if the historic March 7 speech was included in the constitution correctly. Prominent people, including those who were present during the March 7 speech, were asked to be included in the committee.
