All preparations taken to face flood situation: Prime Minister

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that all preparations have been made to handle the flood situation.

She said, “There was no need to worry about floods as the government is ready to deal with the situation. Assistance will be provided by listing the victims.”

She made the remarks at an exchange meeting with officials of Sylhet Divisional and District Administration at Sylhet Circuit House after inspecting flood-hit areas in Netrokona, Sunamganj and Sylhet on Tuesday.

The Prime Minister said all possible assistance would be provided to the flood victims.
