44th BCS preliminary results today

The 44th civil service preliminary examination results will be released in the afternoon on Wednesday.

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) sources said the outcome will be made public following an urgent commission meeting.

On May 27, the preliminary examination was held in each divisional city across Bangladesh. A total of 350,716 job seekers applied against some 1,710 vacant posts in the civil service.

A total of 250 people will be hired for the administration cadre service, along with 50 for the police cadre, 10 for Ansar, 30 for audit, 11 for tax, 8 for co-operative, 7 for railway, 10 for information, 6 for commerce, 27 for family planning, 3 for food, 485 for technical, and 776 for education cadre services, according to the circular.
