No JSC, JDC exams this year: Education Minister

This year's Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) exams will not be held, Education Minister Dipu Moni announced on Sunday.

She stated this during a news conference held at the education ministry this morning,

"Since no JSC and JDC exams will be held, the respective educational institution will evaluate its pupils."

According to officials from the education ministry and the education board, the decision was made because the authorities will not have enough time to prepare for the JSC and JDC exams following the HSC exams this year.
