Sitakunda fire under control, no more risk: Army

The fire at the BM Container Depot at Sitakunda in Chittagong has been brought under control 61 hours after the fire broke out, said Lieutenant Colonel Ariful Islam, commander of the 18th Brigade of the 24th Infantry Division of the Bangladesh Army.

He said this at a press briefing at the gate of the depot around 11 am on Tuesday.

He added that there was no risk of another explosion at the depot.
