Mother, son strangled inside the house

Miscreants have slit the throats of a mother and her son inside a house in Narayanganj's Araihazar.

The murder took place at Ujin Gobindi Paschim Para village in Brahmandi union of the upazila on Sunday morning.

Police believe that the killers cut their throats at some point in the night and fled.

The deceased were identified as Razia Sultana, 40, wife of the late Awal and her only son Talha, 8. She was in second grader at Manohardi Model Kindergarten in the area.
