1,072 COVID cases, 7 deaths in a day

Bangladesh has tallied 1,072 COVID-19 cases in a single day, bringing the total number of infections to 1,997,412.

According to the most recent government data made public on Monday, the number of people who have died from Coronavirus increased by seven in 24 hours to 29,241.

A total of 10,974 samples were examined nationwide, yielding a positive result of 9.77 percent.

With 671 infections, Dhaka has the most cases among the eight divisions.

In the entire country, 1,997 more persons overcame the sickness, bringing the overall number of recoveries to 1,926,957.
