No possibility of allowing motorcycles on Padma Bridge before Eid: Cabinet Secretary

According to Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam, riding a motorcycle across the Padma Bridge prior to Eid-ul-Azha is not possible.

At a press conference held on Sunday at the secretariat, he made the assertion.

Beginning on June 27, the Bridges Division decided to impose a temporary ban on motorcycle traffic on Padma Bridge.

The decision was made after two individuals died in a motorcycle accident on the first day the Padma Bridge was open to traffic.
