618 new COVID cases, 4 deaths in a day

Bangladesh has documented 618 COVID-19 cases in one day, bringing the total number of infections to 2,004,188.

According to the most recent government data made public on Thursday, the number of people who have died from the covid 19  increased by four in 24 hours to 29,284.

A total of 9,338 samples were analyzed nationwide, yielding a 6.62 percent positivity rate.

With 379 infections, Dhaka has the most cases among the eight divisions.

Nationwide, an additional 872 persons recovered from the sickness, bringing the total to 1,940,083.

According to the most recent data, 1.46 percent of patients died and 96.80 percent recovered.
