PK Halder is in jail for another 15 days

PK Halder alias Prashant Kumar Halder alias Shiv Shankar Halder has been remanded in custody for another 15 days by the Special CBI Court-3 in Kolkata.

Judge Jiban Kumar Sadhu dismissed his bail plea at around 11am on Tuesday.

Earlier in the morning, after 14 days in jail, he was again taken to the City Sessions Court in Kolkata. Five other accused were produced in this court.

Enforcement Directorate (ED) lawyer Arijit Chakraborty told The Daily Samakal about this.

PK Halder was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) of India on charges of embezzling several thousand crores of taka in Bangladesh.
