Annual health checkup for all from next year: Health Minister

Health Minister Zahid Maleque said that the annual health checkup for all citizens will be started in government hospitals at the beginning of next year.

He said this while talking to reporters at the official inauguration ceremony of the specialized service center for newborns at Manikganj 250-bed general hospital on Saturday afternoon.

Health Minister said that it will be possible to start annual health checkup in government hospitals from next year.

“A project has already been undertaken. If everything goes well, it will be possible to launch this service in January next year. Then it will be possible to diagnose the disease quickly,” he said.
